My Dell 1700 printer has decided to quit on me.

My Dell 1700 printer has decided to quit on me. When trying to print, the paper won't feed and I get a paper jam light. This just happened after I was printing on the back side of a previously printed copy. I don't know if something (ink) could have gotten on the paper pickup mechanism or if it's something else. All I know is the paper won't feed and there's nothing clogging it.
