Re: nintendo ds

Take the battery out and put it back in to your nintendo DS.

although you could just change the settings from the DS menu...

On the phantom hourglass it says... data could not be read. Please turn the power off and reinsert the game card.I did what it said.I even cleaned it.I need help.

WARNING: This will erase all saved game data!

As the game boots up, press "A,B,X,Y,L, and R" all at the same time to erase all saved game data. This resets the game to all defaults and it's like it's a brand new cartridge. Stinks you lose your save data but at least you get to play again.

Nintendo ds, can not erase data message

Where did you buy this game? Is it from a reliable source? There's been known fake DS games that don't work. And usually the case is the game shows a message "can not access saved data. please turn of power and re-insert game". This is actually my first time with a case where it can't erase the data. Try contacting the previous owner.

Is it possible to reset shrek the third on nintendo ds?

You can't erase the contents of the card directly. Some games have an option in the game to erase game results. Also you can always start a new game as a new player, so buy the game. Have no fear that you can not play from the beginning.

You mean like you bought a used game and don't want to use other peoples data? Somewhere on the game title screen you should see like game settings or data options in there you should have the option to erase the data
