Hi.. i have a 28"

I feel this is a resolution problem that your laptop wants to display a higher resolution then the monitor can handle or you got a issue with the logic board inside things to try is hooking it up to a different system if that works you need to rule out why the laptop is all of the sudden trowing this into a loop my best advice would be look into the laptops settings maybe those got changed by accident?

So check these things out first.:

1. laptop video settings set it for a lower setting like 800X600 if it stays lit you know you had the wrong setting if it does not stay lit you do indeed have a logic board problem inside the monitor.
2. Check this with another computers video card just maybe you laptop is failing to handshake with this monitor that happens when a laptop is showing signs that its video card is going out.
3. if you monitor does not work ether on a pc or your laptop with the new settings you got your answer you can buy a new logic board for under $50 bucks and have it put in.
