Re: trying to add music to psp
Connect your PSP with memory card inserted to your computer, a Mass storage device will be displayed on your computer. Then look for a drive in the my computer, drag your mp3 file into the folder MUSIC in your memory stick and you can play them under the music section.

Depends on what you mean by adding music. If you want to just add music files then you can just get mini USB to USB cord and connect to your computer. You'll need to put your psp into USB mode first though. Once connected to your computer you can just drag and drop your files into your psp memory card. Thier should be a music file already created in the memory card. As for getting music from a provider like spotify then I'm sorry to say but that's not possible. You could try the radio app on the psp. I'm not sure if it is still working but it doesn't hurt to try.
Adding music is rather simple. First, you have to connect your PSP to your PC via a USB Cable. Once it's plugged in, click on USB Connection on the PSP Menu. Your computer will recognize your PSP and ask what you want to do with it.
Open up your PSP folder and open the folder called "MUSIC". Open the folder on your computer that has the music you want to add. Click and drag the files over to the PSP. Once the transfer is complete, disconnect your PSP and goto the Music tab on your menu and select "Memory Stick''. All the music you uploaded should be accessible.
There are two ways...u can either have it thru WiFii for which you should have a friend who not only has a psp but has the stuff you want on your psp...The other way is to connect your psp to a pc with a usb data cable.for music, open the folder that says 'PSP'...if you find a folder sayinf 'MUSIC' add mp3 to this folder. If not just create a folder of that name. For video, make a 'VIDEO' folder in the root directory itself.U may need a software like psp video9 to convert your videos to psp playable. For games, you need to check your firmware.
Download limewire from http://www.limewire.com then open limewire and search the music you want. Then connect your usb cord to your psp and then sync your psp. (IF you have an old version of lime wire you need to upgrade it.
i do not have the manual in from of me and will not for a day or so. Although from memory, I know that you have to save the Video under as a modified Filename. Save them to the apporriate folder and rename them "MV4filename", Where filename is your videos name. You merely add MV4 to the front end of all the Video filenames.
