How do you fix a canon power shot A70 whose ccd has been exposed to sunlight? My screen is blank. Will not focus on anything..

If the sensor has been exposed to the sun for a period of time unfortunately it will mean a new camera. I believe the price to replace a sensor is pretty close to getting a new camera.

Canon power shot SD1200 IS elpf won't retract

This is a delicate operation but you can try this: tap the camera lens up on a towel over a hard surface (counter top or floor) while you expect the lens to retract as in turning off. It may be enough jarring force to get cams back in the helix that moved the lens. Hit it hard and flat. IF that doesnt work, try tapping the lens down while it tries to retract. I have heard that people get so frustrated with it that they slam the camera lens up on a desk and that fixes it!

Lens is stuck half out and when I hit power, it says to "turn off and back on again" but nothing changes

The lens has probably got something in the retraction mechanism that is stopping it retracting. This can be something as simple as sand or grit or as a result of a drop or knock. In most cases the camera will need to be stripped apart to remove the lens assy before it can be repaired. This is best left to a professional camera repair shop.

Canon Power Shot A2000 IS lens is stuck in out position. I had to replace batteries. I replaced them and when I turn on, it says "Lens Error, Restart Camera" and it shuts offs automatically.

My camera is showing blurred pictures when taking pictures help

Try reseting all menus to default, then try again to test.
Make sure the lens is clean.
Do the menus appear clear?
Has the camera ever been dropped or had any other damage? This could get the lens out of focus, and would need repair.
Does blurring happen when zooming or when taking a picture of any kind?

Have read of same problem from numerous users on the internet. One person said this may be caused by a twisted/jammed lens. Apparently the "telescoping" lens mechanism can sometimes jam due to a drop and/or from dirt that gets in the telescoping hardware. The solution that someone gave that I read about involved telling the user to try to gently twist and/or wiggle the extended lens parts counterclockwise to try to "unjam" them. Of course that would also require having fully charged batteries, etc, before you try that, since from my experience, low battery charge results sometimes in the lens not retracting (or extending) properly also. It's worth a try anyway, since apparently your camera isn't functioning properly anyway now with its lens extended. I have a problem w/my On/Off switch not working properly, and in checking w/the Canon USA website, they wanted a minimum of $87 to "start" to attempt to fix it (whatever the problem is), and required that I pay them that much "up-front", and that I agree to whatever it then would cost in toral. I backed out and went and bought some new cameras instead, since I felt that was way too much to invest in my A70, that's already 5 years old now. Good luck w/your extended lens problem.

The E18 error is fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension.
Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. Have already fixed several cameras with this problem by using these methods:

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair
