It has nothing to do with the Memory Card, because the same problem happens to the 512 MB card. I am experiencing this problem myself and it is annoying to deal with...I feel like buying a whole different phone, because this one in particular has many issues as I read from other blogs...

I have a 1GB and mine keeps freezing up also.I also had this happen about a month ago and the verizon store did a flash software update that didn't help so they gave me a new krzr when mine was only a couple months old anyways, and now less then two months after that ,it is freezing up once again. And sometimes shows a white screen.UGHHH!

The memory on the krzr is only expandable up to 1GB. try a smaller memory card, and it should work.

You have a option in the memory card settings to format. It will format, but still after loading some data into memory card the mobile starts freezing again, even im suffering with the same problem for a long time

It is very simple to get Subsidy Code for Motorola KRZR K1 Phone....Visit the site
Theunlockarena.com get Subsidy Code and unlock it easily.

Motorola KRZR K1 Unlocking InstructionsWarning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola KRZR K1 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola KRZR K1 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola KRZR K1 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola KRZR K1 is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"

What is the most capacity of Micro SD that suport of that cellphone!

The SDA announced the microSD format at CTIA Wireless 2005 on March 14, 2005, and approval of the final microSD specification was announced on July 13, 2005. At launch, the microSD format was available in capacities of 32, 64, and 128 MB. SanDisk introduced a 2 GB microSD card in July of 2006, initially priced at 99 USD. Since then, prices for flash memory devices have fallen dramatically. The same 2 GB card as of April 2009 can be found for as little as 12 USD at department stores, and as of May 2009 for as little as 6 USD at online electronics stores. At present date Jan 2010 a 16 GB micro SD card class 2 comes for about $40 and a 4 GB class 2 micro SD card comes for about $8.

Motorola krzr k1m + 2gb memory - won't read the card

for your added information, it is by chance that the 2 gb sd card can be recognize by your phone. normally, krzr 1 doesn't support 2 gb. you may think that others do have. it all depends on the firmware they have and sometimes on the brand of the sd card like micromax
it is really by chance that it will be recognize. most of the time, it can be hardly recognize.

take care.

Unreadable memory card!!!!motorola krzr k1

you may have to buy a memory card reader, plug it into your computer and format the memory card before it will work in your phone, or your phone may require a different format of the same card, for instance some camera's take SD cards, and some take the HD/SD card, and they are not interchangeable, the SD will not work in the HD/SD device and vice versa..........hope this helps........

Trouble with expanded memory

The Sansa Express was only designed to hold up to a 2 GB Micro SD card because that is as much expandable memory it was meant to read. Anything bigger as in your case will cause the player to go slower than normal as it tries to read the card and after a while, it will most likely freeze. If you try it with a 2 GB Micro SD card, it should work.

How do i download songs to aunlocked phone

If you get a memory card adapter for your PC you can transfer mp3 files onto the phones memory card directly.

When you plug the card into your PC/mac you should see an audio folder. copy your music in there and put the memory card (micro-SD) into your phone :)
