My Krups Grinder Brewer has stopped pulling water though the system. It just stays in the resevoir. Grinder part seems to be working fine.

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, but no heating on the plate, and no dripping of water.

The KM7000 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

When the machine is turned on, check to see if the warming plate gets hot. If it doesn't, your water heater/warming plate has failed.

My Krups xp7225 suddenly stopped grinding coffee beans. The grinder rotates but sounds empty, even though there are beans in the top container part. The beans do not go down. Any ideas short of sending...

xp7225, the grinder in possibly plugged at the discharge,
you may have to remove the grinder to get it cleared-when doing so check the O-rings on the top plunger.

to disassemble start by removing the front trim. this is TRICKY, pull out a bit at the bottom and slide up at the same time it should release and you can access the shrews and remove the top, OYA remove the water tank and bean bin!
then remove shrews on top including under the the grate and the piston has a spring a the discharge shoot gently move it wile removing the 2 shrews holding the grinder in place, you may be able to gently lift the grinder up. wires are a bit long, place a rag or paper towel at bottom of pocket to prevent anything like shrews from falling though and you can remove the motor from the grinder by removing the shrews under it with a stubby shrew driver. BUT if the wires will not pull out enough..THEN you have to remove the sides and back.. remove by taking out the screws at the front and top leave the bottom and front in place..slide the back and sides together away from the back.....
open the cover over the wires MARK and record all wire positions unplug the the wire to to the grinder follow wires to find them.....if you have to untangle by removing the board USE CAUTION the connections are FRAGILE...up the spade connections first then lift the top of plastic and pull the board out and away!!! BE SURE TO NOTE WIRES there is ON wire diagram available !!!!
reverse to put things back together... GOOD LUCK

A Krups KM7005 coffee maker/grinder doesn't heat or drip water .

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, grinding works fine, but no heat on the plate, and no dripping of water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. To date, I have helped 13 people on this site fix this exact problem.

I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

Krups KM7005 coffeemaker/grinder does not heat or drip the water

The heating plate is actually your hot water heater for the unit and it has most likely failed. The water flows through the heating plate and heats the water for brewing. Krups replaced my whole coffee brewer.

No coffee is coming out of the machine...

in our machine we wanted a stronger coffee so we adjusted the auto grinder (where the coffee beans are housed) to the finest setting thinking the finer the grind the stronger the coffee...after doing this the machine wouldnot make coffee...we sent it away while still under warranty and the tech said that the grind selection was too low so they just turned the grinder back up a notch and it worked fine ....dont know if this will help but it's worth a try!

I have a Krups Orchestro Model 889 which hasn't been used in a while. Now when I use it, the grinder works and the steamer works but nothing pours into the cup when I activate the machine. I think its an...

I had the same problem with my Krups Orchestro and today picked it up from service. There was nothing wrong except the internal filter was blocked and a manual clean by the technician fixed it. I think I exacerbated the problem by going to the finest grind over time the amount of liquid to the cup got less and less till it stopped.

Now I am using a courser grind - hopefully this will delay the onset of the problem. I was going to try a clean myself - but was deterred by the security oval head screws on the back. The repair centre told me they thought the Krups machine was a great product - and that I should expect many more years. It is essential though to perform maintenance (clean especially) as soon as prompted.

Good luck!
