Re: Count

Happy HOlidays
Well, I duno the brand of your repeater, but, belief me, sometimes , reprogram the repeater may, help, or disconect all, and start again, perhaps something in the properties is reseting the router.

I am using Intel D845GVSR board with Genuine Intel 2.4 GHz processor accompanied with 80GB Hard disk 7200 RPM and 512MB DDR 266 MHz RAM No problem in my system for past 9 months Recently it behaved...

Software Utilities are not only the solution for a PC to run proper, you also need to clean the hardware manually and periodically, have you ever cleaned your motherboard or other components during the nine months? if not there might be lots of dust clogged on the chips of the motherboard.. Remove everything which is connected on the motherboard, clean them on by one and don't forget to clean the CPU fan as well. and reconnect everything, and see the result. You also need to clean the bios battery to make sure everything is cleaned. Good luck...

Dell 5150 will not boot

how old is the system? Have you made any changes to the system (taken anything out then put it back in? Does it COUNT the memory? is the count proper? are there any BEEP CODES being sent? if there are beep codes then write them down.. if there is a non stop beep code then something is not plugged in properly Have you added any new hardware? IE any new cards? any new RAM? DELL is an extremely PROPRIETARY system basically means that not all hardware will word in it.. if you added any new hardware, try to remove the new additions, see if it starts properly then.. It appears that the graphics card is functional since you say it makes it to the POST.. crack the system open remove and reistall the RAM memory it is possible one or more has worked loose or maybe put in somewhat out of sync.. I had a NB that I put some new RAM into, and the RAM was misconfigured even though it claimed to be for HP.. I replaced the new ram with the old and it straightened everything out for me.. sometimes the 8/16/32 nit cards won't be completely seated and that causes massive headaches too

Cd burner does not seem to be working properly

Open device manager and uninstall the DVD device driver. Reboot. The system will automatically reinstall the needed driver.

Try it now, it should work normally.

If you are trying to shut down with the camera still connected!!??GOTO the bottom right of screen and ""safely remove hardware"" see if the system will shut down.....sometimes a hardware driver does not want to shut down so you must turn it off and plug it in again when you start windows again....

Connect directly to the AP with a cat5 cable,
you need to set a static IP in your laptop.
Start > control panel >netwrok connections> right click on your LAN icon > properties
In the main box, highlight "Internet Protocol/TCP/IP ", then click on properties.
Check the button "use the following IP address"
Put these settings in:
IP =
Subnet mask:
Click ok.
Then go to your browser and type in This should get you into the setup page.
There you have to inputer the routers wirteless MAC address in the box labeled "repeater mode"
You may need to update the AP's firmware, here is how to do it:

copy and paste the link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Lcd temp display dont come on

Chances are it turns on automatically when its getting critically hot to warn you to shut it down.Or its Just for show. Goto - Control Panel - Device Manager - and look in the list to see if its actually programmed into the pc itself. If it is right click on it and goto properties. there you will be able to see if it has been disabled or uninstalled or if its working properly. if its not working properly it will give you the option to update the required drivers

My comuter won't start up properly. It stays blank right before the log in screen at start up. It shuts down automatically when I play certain video games.

Ok this could be a CPU Issue, after a while the thermo paste on the heatsink which is on the CPU under the fan the paste will dry out and when it does the cpu once starts working under load due to the games being played will shut down to protect itself and the board.

What you need to do or get someone to do it for you take out the Heatsink reapply thermo paste on top of the CPU (by the way thats what I call it) may be known in your region as Thermal grease (also called thermal compound, heat paste, heat transfer compound, thermal paste, or heat sink compound. If you need more help let me know

My pc game keeps shutting down and keeps saying runtime error

1. Click Start, click Run, type dxdiag, and then click OK. 2. Click the Display tab. In the DirectX Features area, make sure that DirectDraw Acceleration and Direct3D Acceleration are enabled.

Note Windows Vista automatically enables DirectDraw Acceleration and Direct 3D Acceleration if these features are supported by the display device and by the driver. 3. If either feature is disabled, click Enable next to the disabled feature. 4. Click OK when you are prompted. 5. If multiple video adaptors are installed on the computer, repeat steps 2 through 4 on each Display tab. 6. Click Exit to close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

If this does not fix it then Tell us the game details - name etc:
