The disk needs to be formatted to be used in the camera and camcorder i have. how do i format the disks? The camera is a Kodak Easy Share C875 and the camcorder is Mitsuba DV304.
If you have a card reader, the easiest way to format the card is to use the card reader to connect the card to a PC. Find the SD card in My Computer and right click on it. Select format. Windows can format it FAT FAT32 ot NTFS. Check with the user manual to find which you require for your device. The camera should also have a format function. If the products are older, they may not be compatable with high capacity cards. Links to the manuals follow:
