When you 1st install the wii it asks to set your language ive tried using the button A to select english, it wont do n e thing, ive tried using the scroll arrows it wont move to select english the llights are working on the remote so i presume its working, i cant get to play it
I love the way this works - if everything is plugged in properly, the remote control will be detected by the sensor and you should see an arrow on the screen that you can move by physically moving the remote. Use this to point the arrow to "English", then click "A", then move it again to "confirm" (...or is it "OK"?).
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The method used depends on the version of Windows you are running.
You can right click on the task bar (where the running programs are shown along with the start button) and choose Toolbars... ' Language Bar. The language bar will now be shown, and you can click this, choose settings ' Add... and choose English.
If the language bar option is not available, and you are running Windows XP, open control panel and choose "Options régionales et linguistiques". From here, choose the second tab and down at the bottom there is an option to change to English. It will ask you to logout (it may be in French) so click OK and when you log back in you should be set to English. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, open control panel and choose "Options régionales et linguistiques". From here, choose the third tab and there is a button to install/uninstall languages. Please post back if you have more questions.
Hi! Please try doing the steps below: 1.Open Control Panel and double click on the Regional and Language Options icon. 2.In the first tab, Regional Options,
select English (US), English (UK), or any other English (there are many
versions of English pre-loaded) as per your wish. The option is
available in the first drop down list under Standards and Formats. You may also click the Customize button next to the drop down to customize the format of date, time, currency etc. 3.Click on the next tab, Languages and then click the button labeled Details. In the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box, you can see all the installed languages. Select English in the list of available languages under Default Language Settings. 4.To create a keyboard shortcut for switching among installed languages, use the Key Settings under Preferences. Please note that you can also use the Language bar to switch among languages. Click OKto close the dialog box. 5.To set English as the default language for the particular user account, click on the Advanced tab of Regional and Language Options dialog box. Make sure English is being displayed in the drop down box and check the last option in the dialog box. 6.Click OK to close the dialog box and log off for the settings to take effect.
Hope this helps. Thanks for reading my suggestion.
just remove your current sim card, get another spare sim card or your
friends sim card and insert it in your phone and switch on then follow
the instructions for basic setup on your phone and it will directly lead
to the language options of your phone, then select the language
if this did not work go to settings (differentiate menus using the icons) 1st option (general) use your track pad and press it twice this will land on the language menu then press the center button or select button
I had similar situation.
Go to the setting icon with the wheel
Select the 4th option from the top (it's the phone setting)
Select the 3rd option from the top (it's the Language setting)
If you do not see the English option select any of the option
Repeat this process and the english will show up.
If you can scroll the screen try that also.
I took about 4 tries to get to the English option.
I have some problem with language. I have downloaded Pes 2008, which has only french language. Cant set others. Also have downloaded NDS file from btjunkie which say EURO MULTI 5. I placed that in instalation folder but dont work. Help pleaseeee.
Press the Menu button. Select Setup (the wrench icon, or else the last item). Select Language (either the waving flag icon, or else "xxx/Language" where xxx is Language in whatever language is currently selected. No matter the language, it should still say "Language" in English after the slash. In that menu, each language is labeled in that language, so you should see "English" as one of the options. Select that, and everything should be back in English.
I have the same ipod, so i know where you are coming from. First go to settings. After you reach settings, the first thing in that menu will be "about". scroll down until you reach "language", press the center button, and the first language should be english!:) i used my ipod to figure it out, it is right here on my desk!
