My games wont load up

hey, I had the same problem as well. Except my audio was really messed up and it froze a lot. It was so bad that I couldn't play anything, nothing would load up and it would remain at a black screen. I did some research and found out that this is most like result from a corrupt harddisk. There are two possible solutions, one you can take the harddisk out and clean it off a bit (blow on it) then put it back (i do not really advise this and it may not work), or two restore the system to its factory settings (meaning system restore, can befound under system prefrences on the main screen i believe.....But, the best solution is to call up sony and get a replacement.

By the way! I had the same problem mainly after I played Assassins Creed to! But more realistically, it was weird because at first I was playing uncharted and i began to realize some problems, then both games stopped working. Uncannily, my other PS3 games did still work on the system such as Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Motorstorm, along with Call of Duty 4.

i have the same problem happened last night in the middle of recon.. now nothing loads ps3 is a lil over a month old and is 40g. I think im gonna send it back to sony

Won't load anything, games cd's you name it. System not even 1 month old. Called sony and they won't help me because it bought it from a guy at work who got it as a gift so I am "according to sony" not the original owner. The damn thing was never even opened, much less registered and sony doesn't care! I will never NEVER buy another thing from such a lousy company!

exact same problem happened to me.  It really has pissed me off because I am in Iraq and have nothing else to do on my down time.  My system is right at one year old too.   Very pissed!!!
