I have this weird problem. I installed a HP P2015 on my PC and set it as Default Printer. I have not printed anything yet. When I open Outlook (version 2007) and compose a new mail message then outlook uses word as my e-mail editor. When I open up my anti-virus application and attempt to run a scan of the hard disk drive then it scans. Okay here is the problem. When I open up any application and print something to the printer then the following happens. The printer prints the document without a problem. When you then open outlook and compose a new mail message then Outlook gives and error. “Your e-mail editor is unavailable or not installed or you are running a different version of office” Something to that effect. When I open up my Anti-Virus and attempt a scan then it fails with some weird permission error. If I deselect the printer as default and delete the printer out of the control panel and restart, then everything is back to normal. I have 50 PC’s at work and I tried to install this printer on 5 of them using office 2007 and/or 2003 and getting the same results. I installed the ljp2015pcl5vista2k2008xp2003 driver direct from HP for this printer…. Anyone have any ideas please.
