    Hi,

I have the same problem : statup failled even trying to hold the enter button when pushing on button.

looking inside the equipment I've founded on the power supply board a
faulty transistor marked C114. I did not find any data sheet about this
    transistor (2SC114 I suppose).

If anyone has an idea or schematics about this part of equipment, i'm very interested to fix this failure.

Will not turn on

There may be a short circuit in the speaker terminals.

Disconnect all speakers and try it. If it works troubleshoot each speaker one at a time. Shorted wires are indicated.
© Disconnect the AC cord, then correct the speaker connections.

Power on problem

Well this helped me find the relay but I found that after i pulled it off the board that it has some corosion around the metal prongs that hold it to the board. Could not get the relay open to do what is posted above , tryed opening it several times. Not sure if you are supposed to open it but could someone let me know. I am scraping around the prongs to get the corosion off hoping it will help but might just replace it alltogether. Further info on how to open the relay to do what is posted would help, I would appreciate any help, plzzzzz! :)

Sudden failure to power up

I've had this happen a number of times with my receiver. This trick from the Troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual usually does the trick: To reset If an unusual condition in the display window or malfunction occurs, reset the unit as follows. 1 Press the POWER button to turn off the power. 2 Press the POWER button while pressing the ENTER button. Everything stored in memory after purchase is canceled. If the power cannot be turned off in step 1 because of a malfunction, reset by disconnecting the AC cord and carry out step 2.
