Also, you should know that the most recent update (OS 3.1) will brick all jailbroken iPhones (IE: stop them from working altogether)

you will void the warrenty.. and possibly get booted off ATT if you really want to google Jail Breaking the Iphone.

Your carrier doesn't know you've unlocked your phone, so as long as you steer clear of Apple OS updates after the unlock, you're safe from harm.
