I have installed sonic record now and it is not

i have installed sonic record now and it is not installed though it does not show any problems..what could be the reason. rn73dlx_16lang application was installed first and then the patch PatchGdiplus.
The same download worked fine on another computer. What could ne missing in my computer so that it did not get installed. kindly help.
