Hello i can't seem to locate the wirless driver on my laptop

open the control panel and select device manager locate ur wireless adapter now right click on select the driver tab now select update driver and make windows update search for the driver for u. if windows cant find the driver select driver update again and select the second options and browser to the media that came with ur wireless adapter and windows should find the driver. if ur driver is still not working download and try devicedoctor...google it...devicedoctor should be able to help u...

If you have a laptop, just check if your wireless switch is ON; if not slide it (usually to the right...) to have it ON. This will enable your Wi-Fi card and will allow you to connect.
If you have a PC just make sure your WLAN card (right-click on MY COMPUTER > PROPERTIES > HARDWARE > DEVICE MANAGER > NETWORK ADAPTERS and select your wireless card) is ENABLED. If is not, just right-click on it and select the ENABLE option.
And again, for both kind of machines, in the TASKBAR right-click on your WIRLESS ICON that is marked with an RED X (inactive) and make it ACTIVE.

Try unistalling the wireless driver and then download the right driver for your wireless card from http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5520.html

Wirless and modem systems both are different, there is no connection between them.

If you were using your modem for internet access then you should chek-out your modem and phone-lines etc. Wirless will not effect.

verify your modem driver is installed correctly and check the settings.
