I bought a mtx terminator amp model no TNA251 600 watt and two subs installed. It works good for few days but now its not cranking up proper bass and sound. It always has three solid red lights everytime....

does it do this all the time when you turn it on? any sound at all?
provide more information, but my guess its that the amp is blown. replace it or sell it for parts.

Have you tried new rca jacks????? If not try them...If the problem persists, it may be the preouts on your stereo.....I have ran into that problem with a few stereos, especially pioneer.....thumping sound with the sound turned down, weird sounds etc.....If it still does it maybe try one of those line level converters.....(i used one in my last car when my preouts were messing up....)I just spliced into my rear outs

What Hz do i use

The best way to set up an amp is to start with everything on 0 Turn your gain all the way off, then turn the stereo up as loud as u would normally listen to it. With the stereo on, slowly turn the gain up until it sounds the way you want it. As for the Hz settings, for a sub you should have the crossover set to lpf, and the z knob adjusts what frequency your sub will play. Since you have a 10" sub, I wouldn't put it much below 125, because tens can't produce ultra low bass and it could damage the sub. Hope his helps :)

Panasonic stereo help

It sounds to me like there is a dirty connection or a failing component in your stereo. Being intermittent like you've described, is hard problem to figure out. It could be just the connection you are getting at the speaker terminal. But, If you aren't shy about opening up your stereo to see the guts, try getting some denaturated alcohol and clean the connectors inside. Then if you are familiar with soldering you could check the connections in the driver circuts and see if you can re-flow some of the connections. I had that problem with my receiver. The video output was be flaky so I flowed some new solder on some terminals and it works perfectly.
I hope things work out.

No power

It sounds like your charging system may be causing the problem. The voltage may be too high or the stereo may be too sensitive to high voltage. You need to connect a voltmeter to your system to make sure it's not charging over 14.5v. A normal charging system wii charge at 13.5-13.8v.

Have someone connect a digital multimeter to the B+ and ground wires of the head unit. Have a passenger monitor the voltage while driving. If the head unit cuts out at the same voltage each time and the voltage isn't excessive, the head unit needs to be repaired. If the voltage goes up above ~14.5v, the charging system needs to be checked.
