I cant put pictures on my mp3 player

For some reason i cant figure out for the life of me how to put pictures on myphillips gogear 30gb mp3 player, it says it supports picture files and when i "put" them on the device it says they have been synced to my device but they dont show up. i cant even take off the sample pictures that came with it. any idea would be appreciated, thank you. black on the front and silver on the back

i have these really dumb pics on my gogear 2GB mp3 player, the sample ones, and i have videos that came with it. i need help taking them off and putting my videos on it. please help!

I had the same problem, I went to the phillips support site for this player and had to literally uninstall and reinstall windows media player 10. Also, make sure that the plugin is installed and not just the device manager software. ( Go to control panel, and then add and remove programs - and look to see that you have BOTH the device manager and the plugin installed.) if you need to install the plugin it can be found at this link:

i am not quite sure but maybe is the picture you want to open to big?
You can make them smaller using paint. Maybe that works?

How do I delete an unwanted picture from my GoGear?

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Picture icon

5. Find a picture(s) that you want to delete

6. Left-click the pic once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

If it doesn't work when unplugged and fully charged, that problem is not going to go away. You can do the Repair in Philips Device Manager, but it will erase all of your songs and it probably will not work. The problem is, Philips is all out of these players, and they no longer make any 30GB models - 8GB is the max.

Cant put tracks on gogear as musicmatch not compatable with vista help

There is a new version of the software for this device on the Philips website - www.usasupport.philips.com - let me know if this works for you - just added within past week.

If it fails to resolve the issue, reply to me - I have a few other ideas.

Perhaps you still have it in "hold" position.
Otherwise, reinstall the software or try to put music on by adding the folders direct into the Phillips with the explorer.

My philips 30gb wont play my songs!!!

Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard).

My lists are in reverse order

You have to delete those songs off the player, put them in reverse order in Windows Media Player, and then reload them to GoGear. I know it's a pain, but it is the only method that works.
