I bought a usb cable for this phone
, and I installed the software "Samsung PC Studio II PIMS & File Manager" and "Samsung PC Studio II Image Editor" on my computer. The problem is that I get a message that says "cannot open port and this program is switched in offline mode. After, try to switch in online mode."
I think the problem is the software that i had downloaded is corrupted or something, but I'm sure you know better.
I have no idea how to do this, I have tried to do so, but no luck so far.....so please help me out ASAP. This is my second post and I have waited for your reply for couple of days so message as soon as you can.

I seem to have exactly the same problem.
I don't know if you installed the USB cable driver, and already tried selecting the proper port in the Samsung software.
To determinate if the cable driver is properly installed and which COM port it has asigned, right click on my computer (in your desktop or the start menu), click on properties, go to the hardware tab, click on the device manager button, expand the ports thingy, and look up for USB data cable or something similar from the device list. Find out the COM port then go to the samsung software and select that port from the list in the configuration window. Close and re start the program (or press F3, don't know if it works in all versions of the software)
