The Rapid Isaberg 16 stapler uses 26/6 size staples. These staples are also commonly referred to as "standard staples" and are widely available at most office supply stores or online retailers. They measure approximately 6mm wide and 11mm in length, and are compatible with a wide range of staplers, including the Rapid Isaberg 16. Be sure to use high-quality staples to ensure that your stapler functions properly and staples securely.
The Stanley TRE300 stapler and it's staples have been discontinued and are no longer available. However, the Sears brand extra wide crown staples will fit this stapler.

There are several brands of staples that will fit your stapler and the price will vary according to the depth of staple you are looking to buy. Arrow brand staples are the most common. Located on the end opposite of where the staples come out, there is a spring loaded cap. Push it in toward the base of the stapler and slightly down to release the retaining hook. then let the spring release the pressure rod and pull it out. Connedted to the end of the rod you will see a plunger that is shaped like a short run of staples. Make a mental note of how and where this plunger slides into the base of the stapler. Place a run of staples into the stapler in the same manner that the plunger fits then replace the plunger into the same place following the run of staples. Compress the spring into the stapler and attach the hook as it was. Now you are ready to work.
NOTE: If you cannot compress the spring enough into the stapler you have inserted too many staples, just remove some of the run of staples and try again.
No attachment needed. The nails are inserted just like the staples are. You can only use the nails that are made for it of course. If you look at the front where the staples come out, there should be a little picture of a nail on one side. That is the side the nails go in, heads towards the stapler, just like the staples. The nails will only fit and function from one side of the unit.
