Question about Dishwashers
It all started few days back with a continuous humming sound even after the Dishwasher is off. That sound comes throughout the day. But the dishwasher was working okay that time.
Now when I start the dishwasher it takes the water in but does not start the rinse cycle. The motor never starts. The hot air/steam comes but the detergent is never used. The machine continues all the cyles till it goes off but nothing happens.
Am not sure.. just try this
Check with a multi-meter for 115/220V on motor's tags.
If you don't get this voltage measurement, your problem is not with the motor.
In case you have 115/220V on motor's tags, try first to replace its brushes (2 carbon contacts that transfer the curent to the motor's armature).
try this good luck

these two things can cause this problem: first is the timer motor, if the sound
is coming from the control then the timer needs replacement. If the humming
comes from the bottom of the unit then it is the motor that needs replacement.
When the motor won't work you usually hear humming sound and replacing the
motor is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other
