Re: My calculator is working well but only one button...

I KNOW exactly what is wrong i had the same problem. you put a program like mirage or another application o your program on your calculator. no kids don't want teachers to deleter their games so mirage has a memory blocker. go into mirage then hit alpha then go to like protection options and stuff and turn off memory block. GOOD LUCK

Where is the reset button on a TI-84

Enter the memory options by selecting "Mem." Press the "2nd" key followed by the "+" key. Select "Reset" from the memory choices. Use the arrow key to select and delete all memory.

After choosing to delete all memory, select "Reset." After this reset, your screen should show "Mem Cleared." Once you have reached this screen, press "Enter." If you installed programs or applications, you may need to remove them manually. Once again, enter the "Mem" command.
Press "2" to select Memory Management. If you are deleting programs, input that option from the subsequent menu choices. If you need to remove applications, input that choice and press "Enter. Select the application or program from the list displayed. Press "Del" to request the deletion. Choose "Yes" to confirm your choice.

Repeat this process to delete remaining programs manually. After completing this, exit the memory menu and press the "Apps" button. Make sure no applications remain. Additionally, press the "Prgm" button, and check that all programs have been removed

How do you delete a Program under the Program button on a TI-84 Plus?

Use the memory manager. Press 2ND [MEM] to bring up the memory manager, then 2 7 to bring up the list of programs in memory. Use the arrow keys to move to the one you want to delete, press DEL, then answer Yes to the prompt. Press 2ND [QUIT] to exit the memory manager.

Navigate through the list using up- and down-arrow and press DEL to delete the item from memory. Press 2ND [QUIT] to exit.

Gives error memory message when tries to change

See if the cursor is checkered. If so, the calculator is out of memory.
You may have very little memory available and then wanted to create a table with a very small DeltaTbl (the table step). If the step is small, and the domain is large, very many points will have to be generated and that may make the calculator unable to comply for lack of RAM.

I suggest you free some Ram by clearing the lists, clearing the entries. To do so you press [2nd][MEM][3:Clear Entries] to clear entries, then press [2nd][MEM][4:ClrAllLists] to clear the lists.

Alternatively, you can just reset the Ram by pressing [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All Ram][2:Reset][ENTER]. Then clear the Ram Cleared message and start again your table.

Hope it helps.

You may have to reset contrast.

2. Press and hold [UpArrow] to darken or press and hold [DownArrow] to lighten it.

Hope it helps.
