Question about NEC MobilePro 900c Pocket PC
Hi, i recently got a 900 after my 780 died. i tried connecting it to my computer to transfer programs, but my computer won't recognize it. my dad's wont either. so i know it's the handheld. i downloaded the USB fix from the NEC page, but that didn't work either. any ideas? should i just go look for a serial cable instead of the usb? the problem isn't that i can't transfer files.. i can do that with a jump drive. i just need to put programs on it, including setting up for my wireless card. thanks.
Are you using the NEC Mobilepro 900c drivers? I'm sure the drivers are different. YOu can find the XP drivers here: http://hpcmonex.net/nec900/files/soft/nec/activesyncusb.zip In addition, you should make sure that you have Activesync 3.8 or older. You can find it here: http://www.hpcfactor.com/ftp-root/software/microsoft/activesync/activesync-38/MSASYNC.EXE
