Vizio VW 37 LCD HDTV BIG PROBLEM (by 2 users)

I have had my Vizio for 5 days and I work a lot so it has been used sparingly. I was playing a video game through my HMDI connection on the back and I left the room to answer a phone call. I came back not even 30 seconds later (mind you, the TV had only been on for maybe 30 minutes) and the screen is all black but the TV still had power. I turned it off thinking I had sat on the remote control and changed a setting. Now, I turn on the TV and just get a black screen, not the regular "no signal" screen. I tried unplugging all connections and putting them back in but I can't get any kind of result. Can you help me with this or should I just return this stupid TV???
