How can ifind the user name,and the password,of my wirelles conection in d-link 300,thank you

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. you dont need a driver to use this router just plugged in your modem to your DIR300 then open internet explorer or any browser then type this on the address bar
192.168.0.1
enter user name <admin> and leave the password blank if you havent changed the username and password

1. Right click on the My computer>select Manage
2. One Window will pop up, select device manager. on the right side you will see the hard ware list.
3. Go to Network adapters, expand the tab.
4. Select the wireless wifi link, double click
5. On the pop up window, in the GENERAL tab whether device is enable or not.
6. If enable then go to Driver tab, update the driver.
7. If still not working neew to check your hardware physically. for this better go to a service centre.

first coonect your wifi router witjh your laptop with ether net then go to this link

then type user :admin and password also admin or blank
then go to dhcp then enbale it with auto .
then disconnect your cable from laptop.
then go to my network places then find wireless network then simply conect your network.
thats it.

For resetting up your d-link router password you have to follow these steps..
1. open your browser and type 192.168.1.0 and type user name and password
2.go to wireless settings . you can also restore d-link router settings .

check if your laptop has its necessary drivers for the network adapter. if none, you need to install a network adapter driver.
