Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
Happen over time due to heat and dust build up. Both are major killers of laptop components. Sometimes the fault was there from the beginning from got full exposed over time by the above heat and build ups.

Most electronic chips that fail, will fail either when they are first used, or within 90 days. Failues after this are ususally caused by overheating which is usually caused by a bad fan or by too much dust inside the pc. I vacuum out the inside of my pc twice a year (when I change my clocks).

"((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or
just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
