It may well be some form of virus or spyware.

You should rule out nasty stuff first.

MBAM !

for a free one its pretty darned good !

From a CLEAN computer download and put on a flash drive.

Copy to your DESKTOP on the suspec computer.

Run it but dont change any options just use what it offers.

When its done let it clean anything it finds.

Its where I always start with an infected machine.

As for antivirus AVOID Norton or Mcafee but try the AVG FREE version MBAM should clean up without buying

Only continued use would require purchase As for too many applications that would be up to you to decide what you REALLY need and dont. Most toolbars are a waste of both time and space and can hog computers down. Maybe a good clean up is in order ?

It may just be a "leaking application"

These are badly coded programs that dont release memory when they should and just keep taking more to do the same job.

May I suggest you download
"hijackthis"

It is a program that can make a report on what you have running in such a way that you can post that information to certain sites and experts there will look at it.

They will then give you reccomendations as to how you can remove programs or fix some issues that may be upsetting your computer.

Dont post the log here but follow the nstructions and help the program offers to send it to one of the sites it will offer you.

If you understand startup lists you may even be able to spot som things yourself that you dont want to run and disable them from hijack this.

Green AV is a Fake AV program.
If you are receiving a popup prompting you to download it, then you may already have some sort of infection.

In order to deal with this, you may want to consider a legitimate malware removal tool such as spybot S&D or malwarebytes
I would also reccomend doing a search of the files on your system and removing anything with the GreenAV name.

This sounds like a virus/spyware trojan. If so, there is no easy way to remove this from your system. You might go to Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus site and see if they have a specific tool for removal, but in general, you have to be extremely fortunate to remove it.
The best advice I can give is to copy anything important - documents, spreadsheets, photos, etc. - to a Jump Drive, or write them to a DVD, or do something similar.
Then wipe out your C drive and reinstall your operating system.
Again, you might try to remove this with a specific tool, but you will have to be very lucky to get this done safely, without losing your data.
I worked at a law firm in NYC for a number of years, and ran into this a dozen times. I was able to remove it three times without problems; the rest of the times, we simply rebuilt the computer, as this trojan will hide and return at the most inconvenient time.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

How to clear Antitheft program activated message on the screen at ml350

There is an "Anti-theft protection active" message on my COMAND screen
When a COMAND unit is installed into a vehicle (whether during production or as a replacement) it is equipped with a PIN. This PIN will be associated to the VIN and relies on the communication network within the vehicle for validation. The network check from COMAND is performed at startup and if the internal vehicle network is not detected, "Anti-Theft protection active" will be displayed.

It is important to note that this message is NOT related to the vehicle's Anti-Theft alarm.

Either of the below procedures will temporarily remove the message and allow you to resume operation of the COMAND unit.

Please note that these are temporary solutions. We recommend visiting an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership to have this situation permanently resolved.

· Press and hold down the COMAND power button for about ten seconds

Or

· Restart your vehicle

My AB-48P776 has a cracked screen

I will presume it is a AV and not a AB model. Screen may or may not be available from JVC but if it is will be expensive.

Google the model with 'replacement screen" as several sellers have replacements----outer should be clear protective screen and the unit will have 2 more behind it.

another option might be EBAY where junked sets are offered for parts---get the entire front frame with all screens?

HW-C560S AV Receiver message display PROTECTION. I unplugged and plugged back in and still PROTECTION message. Is it time to take to shop? I know nothing about electronics.

Your set is in trouble my dear friend.
Protection will appear because the processor sense that you have a faulty parts on your unit.
To avoid further damaged, your system shut it off automatically.
The main reason is your Power amplifier I.C., it is shorted, need a replacement.
I"ve strongly adviced you to look for a qualified technician or electronic shop to fix your problem.
Good day!

I want to make my computer clear of viruses allways

Sounds reasonable. To do this you will need to select, install and run a quality anti-virus program. You will get as many opinions as people replying on which program is best. If you need a free one to begin with, look at AVG Free. Check here:

Norton Intenet Security 2009 after installation issue "Sec Risk"

It may be a false positive. Sometimes a system file gets tagged as a risk, which upon removal by norton, is automatically re-created by "windows system file protection".

Get as much details about the risk, such as file name, google it and if safe, add to norton's exclusion list.

Have hdcp error flashing on front display

HDCP is copyright protection for HDMI ensuring that you can't copy the protected material.
Did you connect some new DVD player or new TV to the receiver? However the error should clear once you disconnect everything from HDMI. If not, try to restore the receiver to factory defaults.

T.V WILL NOT STAY ON: JVC AV-27F702 27" TV

This sounds like a protection system cutting in. This happens if there is a major fault and continual use would lead to a fire risk.
