No diagram but you can printthis out. Choose 1 set of inputs for the subs on the amp (I usually use the low or rear which ever has more settings) You need to put the settings to low hertz and no high settings. Now in the output side you're going to use the positive side of the right side speaker and the negative side of the left side speaker (you can switch left or right as long as they are opposite sides!). Lets start with the negative wire connect it to the negative input on one of the subs, connect the positive wire to the positive input on the OTHER sub, then get an extra wire to connect the inputs not used on both subs. Adjust settings in amp and radio and if it doesn't sound good use negative and positive outputs from one single output (only left or only right) Hope this helps

I'm sorry the posting earlier is not for you. But. . . . you might your wires from the radio to the amp incorrect. Make sure the 12 volt source to amp is straight from battery (the thicker the wire the better) and that the REM from radio to amp is correct (usually white and blue striped wire coming out of radio). Check all your wires going to amp (make sure they are not cut, touching,or loose!) and proper ground for amp is important too.

You can't disconnect the chime, it goes thru the radio and is generated by the Body Control Module (BCM).

My jvc stereo is stuck on protected and it won't change the radio station off protected

Radios that are in "protected" mode often indicate a short in a speaker wire or a really bad speaker. Disconnect all eight speaker wires: white, white/black, gray, gray/black, green, green-black, violet, and violet/black. Turn on the radio and see if it still shows "protected". If it does, the radio is defective. If not, connect each pair of speakers back one at a time and see if it goes into protected mode. The one that causes it is the bad wire/speaker.

My jvc turned off for no reason now wen it just turns on for 5 seconds then goes off again is it dead?

I have a radio with a removable front panel that if it is loose will produce that result. Also check for loose power leads or in line fuse holder.

Put a new radio in car, radio start smoking so then i tryed to put the factory one back in the buttons light up wen my headlights are on but the radio itself doesnt cut on

Sounds like you may have burned a part of the wiring loom! or some units have in-line fuses to protect againt current surges, turn the radio over and look for fuses on the back. perhaps there are in-line fuses behind the radio in the loom!

Hope this helps.

Amp will not turn on

That is the way it should be connected. If the protect light comes on you have a different problem than the power connections.

Try to turn it on withour any speakers connected, if it turns on then, you have a bad speaker or you may may the speakers connected inproperly.

If it still goes into protect you have an internal problem with the amplifier.

An internal problem would be something you would need a professional technician to check out. Could be in the power supply circuit, but most of the time it is a blown channel.

If you require any more help feel free to ask,
And if you found this advise to be helpful a "FixYa" rating would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
