Try plugging in a USB desktop keyboard to see if it works correctly. If so you need a replacement keyboard.
buy here
www.ebay.com
ask for instruction on removal when you before buy it.

COPY KEY: MULTI
? If you are only making one copy of the original (or of each original)
and don't want to make a reduction or enlargement setting, press the
START/MEMORY key twice. Copying will begin.
? If you are only making one copy of the original (or of each original)
and want to make an enlargement or reduction setting, press the

How do I enter the number "0" when entering a password for WLAN? I'm trying to connect to a WLAN using WPA encryption with a password including the number "0" but when pressing "0" it shows up as a star...

Brother's documentation is non-intuitive. Pressing the ' 0 ' key shows a ' * ', but it actually is accepted as a 0 and moves to the next character entry position. Just take it on faith that it enters a 0 when it shows * when entering the wireless key.

I want to increase the number of decimal places

s.gif
I found this solution on the HP website. Turn it on, and do what it says. Then turn it off and back on again, and the extra decimal places should show.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?dlc=en&lc=en&cc=us&docname=bpia5183 Introduction This document describes how to set the desired number of decimal places on the HP 12C Calculator in standard format and in scientific notation. Instructions for standard format
  1. Press and release the gold PREFIX key (f).
  2. Press the number key for the desired number of decimal places (0 through 9).
The display will show the specified number of decimal places. The answer will be rounded to the number of digits selected.
