I have a 2004 Kia sorento EX, and am getting a squeaky sound from the blower whenever the fan is on. How do i replace this unit?

You might not need to replace it entirly, it may have something caught up on it or the bearing needs oiling that is all, but you can locate this unit behind the passenger kickpanel. You will need to take the glove compartment out, then you will see the blower box, just unscrew some screws and detach some wiring harness and you should be able to access the blower.

Kia sorrento 2005 blower motor does not turn on

Check your any fuse related to your heat/cooling first before assuming other else. If fuse are ok, then your blower motor resistor relay is damaged, and needs replacement... You can located this item by taking out your passenger compartment unit glove out. There is a black relay that is connect on top your the fan blower, take this out and replace iwth a new one... Cost should be about anywhere between 80 to 120+. It costed me 97.00 at autozone. Took 2 days to order.

Ac blower motor

HI. Your issue will be with the actual resistor switch that regulates the current flow. This switch is located within the control cluster(fan speed switch).

Replacing this switch will correct this issue.

2005 Kia Sorento only blows hot and cold air on high. Is it a blower motor resistor and if it is where is it located?

If the blower moter only works on hi speed it is the blower motor resistor that is bad. The blower motor resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash next to the blower motor. It is not necessary to remove the blower motor to change the resistor.
