The flash adjusts itself with a mechanical zoom lens. What you hear is the lens cycling through its range to "zero" itself.

Rattling sound when car is in drive

Sounds like an exhaust pipe is loose. Check the exhaust pipe hangers. They are the rubber rings that hold the pipes in place. One of them may have broken or come loose. Also, have you run over something recently that may have been the exhaust? Good Luck

My 1998 sebring 6cyl makes a metal on metal noise on the side of my engine by the belts i tried greaseing all the pullys and i used belt noise sparay but it becomes lower and then it becomes higher ???...

sounds to me from the brief description like you have either a water pump rattling, or a timing chain coming slack. Is the noise coming from the alternator? Never grease pulleys, ever. also the stop squeak spray is bad for your belts. Don't know why they even sell it. If you listen carefully you may be able to pin point the rattle. Is this a tick tick tick, or a rattle rattle rattle? Does sound like a water pump rattle or timing chain slap though. Hope this helps

My 2004 Prius has a rattling metallic sound on acceleration. It is coming from the top of the engine on the passenger side. Does anyone know what this can be?

Does the car make this sound when the car has just been turned off and engine is still hot? Lightly push the car back and forth while it's in park. Does it still make that sound?

When I power the Dell AS500 Monitor on, it flashes for a brief second then goes blank but the power switch keeps blinking. The monitor does not function but I do get sound

Check and see if you see a faint image in the back. If you see it, then the backlight has failed. If you cannot see any image, then the power supply on the monitor has failed. You should contact Dell to see if the monitor is covered under warranty in either case as you have a faulty monitor.

M/N GLMV168KS4 - makes a rattling noise when heating food, but otherwise heats properly. All other functions are working. Any ideas of the problem?

It can be a sign of dying magnetron and possible damage to the microwaves chute. If the chute is damaged then the microwave is not repairable. Check the manufacturer warranty on the magnetron.

The failing transformer will cause a deep "growling" noise; the failure of the magnetron will sound more like a sizzle.

Canon 20d flash

push the flash into its resting place with a little pressure, turn unit over, take an image requiring flash while pushing on the flash and then quickly release the flash.
something is likely broken and may clear out when camera in alternate position.
otherwise, off to service. don't force it.
good luck
