Yes. Lay it back side down only, after taping all shelves and loose items inside. It's not a bad idea stand it up several hours before pulgging in if possible to allow any internal oil in the sealed system to return to where it all belongs. (NOTE: often times the manufacturers will have refrigerators or freezers laying down on top of other refrigerators in their delivery trucks.)

If you haul the refrig laying down , for any length of time , let it stand 24 hours , before turning it on .
