Question about HP Computers & Internet
Have you tried cleaning your optics lately? Especially if you have burned alot of disks in the past, this is a common problem... try using a cotton swab with a LIGHT amount of rubbing alcohol, "rolling" GENTLY across the lens while rotating the swab in the opposite direction you are cleaning... should do the trick :) Also, use the other end of the swab to clean around the tray itself (try avoid using an aerosol can/spray, as this will just blow dust into the unit, which just prolongs the inevitable "dust on the lens" issue.
If this doesn't work, please post a comment to this thread, and I will be happy to assist you further!
Hope this helps!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
