Download pictures from camera to computer without download disc

You don't need any special software.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Says memory card full

Hello. If your memory card is full it's time to transfer some of your pictures to a computer or put them on a cd or dvd disc.if you have the cables to conect to a computer plug the camera into the computer and then turn the camera on. Depending on your operating system your computer may or may not see your camera. If it does you may see a window asking what you want to do , just read through and make your choice. If it doesn't right click the My Computer icon and see if it shows up there as a removable device if so try to open it,from there you can move pictures around to folders on the computer. If your computer doesn't find your camera at all you may need software from the camera company ,if you have a disc install it ,if you don't check the manufacturers web site for software. If the computer doesn,t work out most photo finishing stores can copy the pictures to a disc freeing up space on your card for more pictures.

Softare use and camera downloads

This question comes up several times a day here in the camera section at Fixya. But please note, it's very hard to troubleshoot individual software problems online, and it likely is a software issue. But why put up with the headaches of bad software in the first place? Please don't take this as a sales pitch as it's not, but please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of an inexpensive card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:

In my ViviCam 8018 digital camera's software and user manual disc, I cannot access the user's manual. How do I do so?

when you put in the disc, the installation window comes up. Close this down (click on the X), then go into my computer and right click onto the cd. A chart should come up showing you what you can do like play, auto play etc. left click on open and then you will access the cd. there should be a microsoft word document called users manual, open it (double click) and you have it!
