Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

My screen turned completely red i can still see cable but cant change the color back, any tips?

Hello
The red colour output tranisitor either gets voltage at *** collector point or it has been shorted. Check the red colour output section. This section will be attached to the back of the picture tube. check this printed circuit board for any loose contact on solder terminals.

Color red seems to be more prominant...than other

I've had this problem with my projection TV recently. I would say your lens/lamp is to blame. It might be time to change it, depends on the last time it was changed, most of the time, the TV will tell you that it needs to be changed, but not always. I think your best bet is the TV lamp.

Buddy, Not a problem for the average Home Technician. Unless you are good at Solid state Electronics service. Problem is faulty Red Outpuit Transistor or associated components. Best to seek professional hellp.
