If you want to remove MSN you can remove it from "Add Remove Programs", which is available in "Control Panel"

You have to select the program you want to remove and click on "Change/Remove", and the selected program will be removed from your computer.

If you want to remove Old MSN which comes with windows.

You will have to go to "Control Panel"
Click on "Add Remove Program"
Click on "Add/Remove Windows Components"
New window open, un check all programs and select MSN, and click next.
It will remove the old MSN from your program.

Cheers

Sir,
First Method for uninstalling MSN Messenger:

Click your start button / Settings / Control Panel
Click add or remove programs, then choose the option for add / remove windows components on the left side and check MSN Messenger to remove.

Note, you may see two services that look similar. One is Windows Messenger and the other MSN. Windows messenger can also be removed if you are getting a lot of unwanted popup boxes with the words "Messenger Service" at the top.
If for any reason you cannot find MSN Messenger in the add or remove area of control panel, try the second method below for removal.

Click your start button / Run / type in the following line:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Press OK and restart your computer.

Thanks

I take it that you don't wish to use MSN for internet access. You can delete it from your network connections window.
Then you will have to set up a connection that will use either dial-up or some form of high-speed connection. That will become your default connection.
