Question about ASUS P5P800S Motherboard
I installed a new asus motherboard. I get no video display on power-up.
I checked all of the usual suspects, cpu is installed correctly, memory is reseated and installed correctly. The power supply is a new 450 watt. All fans are running and in place. I reset the bios and remved all card from slots.
Do you get a POST beep? If not, then it is possible you ended up with a dead mobo... manufacturing defects do happen, and ASUS will be happy to replace it for you (they're quite good with it, actually).
If you do get a beep code, could you please post what it is?
