Hi there. There is freeware / shareware available called h2testw. This free software will write test data to your device and then verify it has been stored correctly. By this method it can tell if a device has real or fake memory. The program will test any free space on the player so will work best when no music is on the player. The software can also be used to test USB memory sticks and phone / camera memory. I have a copy of the software on my public skydrive. Download it from http://cid-9252ebea9e3d9865.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public. Hope this helps.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I just brought a new mp3 player and i dnt know how to download any music on to it please help me

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I cant add music to my mp3 player

Hi there

Pls check to see if the memory of the mp3 player is not full if so you will not be able to add music to your player, try freeing up space on your player by deleting unwanted songs from your player so as to be able to add more music

Also check to see if the usb cable you are using is not defective by testing it on another system to see if it works

Also make sure your system recognizes the mp3 player if it doesnt you wont be able to add music to the player.

Do not have a disk drive on my laptop so how do i get the mp3 player started

Hello,

Two possible ways to get software for your MP3 player could be:
1. Having internet connection: downloading from the internet on the laptop.
Getting support on the internet for Sony MP3 player is here:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/index.pl
Next enter your model number and follow the links to software and drivers.
Unfortunately there's no support for the NWZ-B135 on the web.

2. Having another computer with a disk drive + a USB memory stick: puttting the disk content on a USB memory stick on that computer, after that using the USB stick with your laptop.
