Wow this is an old post...but mine used to do that back when I had a charger for it haha...I tightened up the video tape and make sure the tape didnt have wrinkles in it too...and it seemed to alleviate the problem if not for one recording...the stop and go recording though thats when this emergency eject happened to me...but was resolved with my just turning the wheels in the tape to tighten the tention...of course it sometimes didn't work cause I didnt get it tight enough you just gotta play with it...if all else fails send it to the shop though...
Sincerely,
Rabeka Jo

Your camcorder has what is referred to as 'bad caps'. This affects almost all brands and models between the years of 1998-2006, and previous. For a discussion of 'bad caps, please visit: Home FAQ

Samsung camcorder, made for JC Penney, model #686-6233. Camcorder has power but will not operate as a recorder not play back on TV. Error message is: STOP D-EMG.

Hello

Thank you for using
FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty. It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

What do L.EMG and R.EMG mean and why do they prevent me from any activity with my camera?

Hello, The errors you are getting are "reel" errors. One or both of the tape reels are not turning during tape movement and the camera is shutting down to protect itself and your tape. In this model this problem is usually caused by the take up reel shaft being bent due to improper insertion of the cassette although this may not be the case. Please inspect both the takeup and supply tape reels and insure they are in correct alignment, if not, a gentle push to one side or the other will place them back in operating position. Good luck to you. Joe Weibel CustomElectronics.Org

Camcorder not working says 'c-emg' on screen

That error code is telling you hey i've got a mechanical problem because when the microprocessor tells me to move the mode switch is suppose to send signals back to the processor to let the mechanism know where its at and in this case the processors not getting the right codes or signals so it wont let you use it, and thats why it will eject if a tape is inserted. Now unless you have all the special tools ,jigs and adaptors to repair this including a service and a mechanism manual you really should take this unit in as there are really no serviceable parts inside for the consumer to replace. Sorry i couldnet be more helpfull. Good Luck

Error messages

Any of the following Error Messages "D.EMG, C.EMG, R.EMG, L.EMG" indicate a mechanical failure in the camcorder. The following steps may resolve the issue. 1. Eject the tape 2. Set to OFF 3. Detach the battery 4. Reattach the battery
