Question about Remington Sport & Outdoor - Others
I am not sure how familiar you are with the workings of this shotgun so here is a detailed list:
1) Slide the operating handle back and lock it in place. The operating handle is on the right of the shotgun, it is attached to the breech block which is what slides back and ejects the spent shell.
2) Next, remove the magazine cap and spring. The magazine cap is the black knob under the barrel on the front of the wood stock under the barrel. BE CAREFUL when you remove this cap, there is a spring UNDER TENSION there and you can get hurt if you are not careful!
3) Once the cap and spring are out, move that stock forward to the (firing) end of the shotgun, it will slide right off. Now the barrel can be removed easily, just take hold of it and pull it away from the breech.
To put it back together do all these steps in reverse. Done!
