Question about Panasonic CQ-C7301U CD Player
I noticed an XM symbol on the faceplate of my Panasonic CQ-C7301U player. How do I get XM radio? I don't see a radio ID anywhere. I bought an xm radio that I can install and all I need to do to activate it is call XM and give them the radio ID (& buy subscription). However, I would prefer to get XM through the panasonic that I currently have in the car. Any ideas if this feature is available and if so, what do I need to activate it? Thanks!
You will need to get the XM add-on that Panasonic makes in order to get the functionality I think you are trying to get. With an external radio, you could hook it into an Aux to get sound, but you would not have the options to change channels from the Panasonic. In order to do that, you will have to buy their add-on. I have a separate Sirius Radio, and I prefer it that way because the display is so much easier to read.
