My iphone cannot turn on.....i tried all the solution in this forum and still my iphone does not turn on....pls help.

Have you tested it with another battery?

Make sure the battery is good.
Make sure the battery is connected to the iphone properly. That is, check the battery terminal.
If the above doesn't solve the problem, then it means the iphone has developed a power problem.

My iphone powered down and wont turn back on?

if you drained the battery to "minus" it needs to be charged some time even to be ready to turn back on..
pls charge it..leave 2 hours and than try it again,it will come..(unless your battery is completely dead.)

How can I improve my iPhone's battery life?

A recent research conducted on cellphones (smartphones) revealed that most of your battery life is drained by "Internet" and "calls". The more you use your phone for any of these two, the faster your battery drains. Next on the list is "Search for network" which consumes quite a bit of your battery power.
Smaller culprits are WiFi, Bluetooth, Screen brightness, themes, Vibration, etc.
* Reduce screen brightness to minimum
* turn off WiFi/3G/4G when not required (same with Bluetooth)
* if you are out of network area, turn off the mobile network so you cell doesn't keep searching for a network.
* If possible reduce internet usage on your cell phone to improve battery life (ie. if you have a laptop handy, use it!)
* Use a darker wallpaper
* Vibration takes up more battery than ringtones
* use a simple theme
* Dont keep your cell phone charging for long periods (eg. overnight)
* If you plan to buy a new battery, buy a branded authentic one
Hope this helped, thanks for using FixYa!

My iphone 4 blacked out eventhough there was about 30% battery left, it had overheated and HOT to touch. i left it for bout an hour and it still wont turn back on. i have charged it for a further hour and...

It sounds like you need to take it to Apple for replacement. No iPhone should get hot to the touch during usage. You can schedule an appointment here: If it is still in warrantee, you shouldn't have any problems.

Try power cycling it.
Hold down the power button until you are prompted to turn the phone off.
Then turn it back on by pressing the power button again.

If that doesn't work you should contact AT&T iPhone support for free help.

Iphone 3GS- only get the apple loading screen.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:
Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

Iphone wont turn on i tryed holding down power and home. this happened after i restarted my iphone. OK i turned off my iphone turned it back on and it showed somthin to connect to itunes so i turned it off...

if your battery got so low that it didn;t supply power to the phone, it probably relocked the iPhone.
It sounds like you either having a low charge from the computer or you need to buy a good a/c charger and charge your phone with it and see if it comes back.
But it's definitely battery related
