It turns on and off by its self

what's the question?

Try turning the main power off to the house for 5 mins and turn it back on see if that reset your oven.

did you change the base out or just the clock?? it could be shorting out threw the base

I think you have a loose cable for the memory

WE used the broil button last night and our stove started beeping nonstop.It also say F1 three hrs of beeping we unpluged it for the night.When we turned it back on today same thing happened with the beeping and F1.hOW CAN WE FIX THIS?

You will need to reset the microprocessor in the Clock/Radio. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio and remove the internal battery. Let the Clock/Radio set for at least 1 hour and then put the battery back in and plug in the Clock/Radio. The functions should return to normal. If not, replace the battery (CR2430) and leave the Clock/Radio unplug for a period of hours. Then put in the new battery and and plug in the Clock/Radio to see if the functions have returned to normal. If not you may have a more serious problem with the microprocessor. You can call the Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020 between the hours of 7am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of the Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance. I would start with checking your battery connections and your ground connections. Sounds like you are losing battery voltage.

check the alarm clock feature in Extras-Clock-Alarm Clock and make sure it's not set to on.

look for a small opening to insert a pin. many companies offer this hole as a way to reset the micro-controller. insert the pin during power up
