Question about Dell 922 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I just downloaded the driver for my Dell 922 Printer. The installation stops and asks for me to install the ink cartridges. I don't have them. I need to use the scanner today and would like to know how to complete installation without ink.

You can not the ink has to be install for the installation to complete. The installs always set up the printer first because the scanner and anything else it does if it is a 3 in 1 or all in one goes thru the printer. Even though you do not need to use the printer it has to be set up for the other options to work. Sorry.

Dell 922 won't print black ink... only uses color cartridge... I can't find selection to use black ink only. The checkbox for print black n white for color is grayed out... Cartridge levels show black ink...


Perhaps the printer does not recognize that a mono/black cartridge is installed. Remove the mono cartridge and check to see that tape is removed then re-seat firmly. Unplug the printer from wall power to reset. Then try again.

Dell 922 AIO NT 4.0 driver is blocked


Download the printer driver from dell web site and try to reinstall. Before reinstall the printer driver you need to uninstall the previous printer driver from control panel->program feature->dell printer

I have installed new printer cartridges, yet it still says I'm out of ink


go to your printer settings on the printer software interface, and there should be an option to say that you have installed new ink cartridges, otherwise just re-intall drivers

Right cartridge incorrect and printer will not


I have the same issue where the printer displays "Right cartridge Incorrect". However, it's had no problems up until about two weeks ago and I've had the right cartridge in place for about a year or so.

Printer: AIO 922 (All-In-One 922)
Ink: Remanufactured ink

Hi there,
" Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
" Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
" restart the computer
" Click here and slecet the operating system and download the drive
"
" after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
" then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

check to see if the ink cartridges are installed properly, or if there is a paper jam. If not unplug it for 2-3 minutes, and try using it again.
