HI,
I have been looking all over for this part. One site didn't have anything like what you need and the other site I have found goes by model number. Here is a link to that web page. I hope it helps. If it doesn't please leave me a comment and give me your model number and I will keep trying for you.

Can the lid on the Krups Aroma coffeee pot be taken apart to clean?

Yes!!! by the word lid do you mean the top or swing out filter holder? If you use small flat screwdriver you can expand plastic at hinge enough to pull apart!

Can't operate it please help (Krups coffee maker)cannot get it started

Try following the manual directions, be sure to add water, coffee in the filter, plug in, and turn dial clockwise until red light goes on.

If this doesn't help, could you be more specific?

Krups aroma

The basket for the coffee is located about the carafe (the round part on the front of the unit). It swings open from the right side. You should see a small ridged tab to pull toward you to open it up. Once open it will swing to the left. Put in a cone type #4 filter and your coffee, add water and you are ready to go!
