Question about GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range
HI. what we have here is a door lock mechanism malfunction, this may be corrected by a simple hard reset, if the damaged isn't severe. To initiate this type of reset, simple unplug, or shut off the appropriate breaker switch for 3 minutes. This will allow the main control board to reset. Once the 3 minutes are up, simple re-introduce power to the unit, and try to preform the self-cleaning feature once more. If the door lock continues to malfunction, this will confirm that the mechanism has failed. It should be replaced in this case asap, if possible.
