Question about Ruud Central System Air Conditioner
Check to see if you have a safety cut off switch installed on your inside unit's drain line. if so, pull it out or unscrew it they are easy to access the little float switch that will cut your unit off if the drain line is clogged.
most of the time this is the cause of a unit not doing anything at all.
if this does not work the next step, if nothing is happening at all, is to open the inside unit and check for control voltage (24v).
