Ensure the audio system is capable of delivering output power required by the subwoofer, obviously bigger vented box will result in greater air flow and produce better bass, but it should not be to big. you can try for boxes with more depth.
To enhance the bass you can try connecting a capacitor of 470 - 2200 micro farad across (parallel) the speakers. try out with smaller capacity capacitors first

What puts out more power when subs are ran in series or parrelall

Depends on your amp, ohm rating of your sub, box dimensions and ports or chamber size, size of vehical.
Run the subs in 2 ohm if the subs and the amp can handle the demand. Look for the Qtas of the sub. You'll loose 1/2 of the control to stop the sub if you run it in two ohm. You'll blow the works up if any part of this equation isn't up to the task of a 2 ohm load.
If your budget, space allows, run it in 4 ohms at the max RMS of the lessor (sub and or amp) and add more amps for more subs for more effect. A very well designed box/enclosure with an average component list can make a wonderful sound. It will usually beat a bigger budget sub/amp setup in a generic box. Theres lots of science that goes into a great sound. Dig into it and have fun

What is size of box for orion xtr 353 sub woofer

If your looking to build a box yourself, build it as big as you can, and still be able to fit in your vehicle. Same goes if your buying one. There are no certain specs for a sub box as long as the speaker fits. The bigger the box the more bass. ( Up to the speakers capabilities )

1000 watt rms americanbass class d mono amp good choice for 2 kicker dcvr122

not a bad amp by any stretch. they do carry a little more thd then some of your higher end amps but should do the job. you did not mention what type of other gear you are running with? your head unit needs seperate sub out rca, prefer 5 volt+ for cleaner stronger signal but any will work. you might want to purchase a good 1 farad cap run at least 4 ga if not bigger cable ( im running 00 gauge on 1500 watts to 4 momo 12's) make sure you have same size ground wire to an excellent ground source. not sure about your crossovers either, im running 2/3rd octave phoenix gold from the old days i swear by them. all that and a good box will help greatly. routing your wires the proper way and using higher end cables will help greatly also. happy beating, any more questions just ask and i do what i can to help. BOOM ON

alot of times its not just the amp that gives you better sounding bass.. A lot has a to do with a few other factors as well.. first off your subwoofer.. the bigger the subwoofer the deeper the bass. Some woofers exturde, or flex differently depending on the quality and structure of the woofer.. 2nd is gonna be the sub box. different size boxes will give your sub diff. depths of bass. ... general idea is the bigger the box deeper the bass. But if your woofer is not supplied enough power a big box is useless.   With that size amp your best bet is too run a single woofer. Probably a 10inch woofer would sound the best.. but it in.75cub inch. sealed box.. should sound great.

No low bass

Check the wiring of the woofers. If one speaker is wired improperly, it can cause the loss of bass and will make the woofers bottom out easily. Check inside the enclosure at the terminals and at the speaker.

its hard to tell whats wrong with so little info , but theres alot that you can check , Is your amp putting out the power ? If the amp is a Pro series 750x amp then check your amp inputs they might be too low hence low output. Otherwise i would like to know what size of enclosure you have these spekers on and how they are connected to the amp.
