I posted the clicking problem, And want to say thanks to the 2 of you who talked anbout the hard drive "click of death" that was the problem. very very helpful and i also found that hp had a tutorial step by step on how to remove the harddrive and replace a new one, so i figured nows the best time to upgrade storage space and bought a 500 MB drive. Again thank you. as for the first response "I had no clue what you were talking about" see i wouldnt of posted a help ad here if I knew every crazy thing you were saying, I would of been able to figure it out for my self. To you other 2 thank you for telling me in simple terms what it could be. Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned the Hp Pavilion A808 for many years, with an Acer AL1711 monitor. Last night I rebooted the machine and when trying to log in the wireless mouse and keyboard do not work, I change the batteries and resync several times - nothing. This morning I try to reboot and this time the monitor shows only the splash screen ''Acer'' then it says ''no signal''. I have tried using the monitor on another PC and it works fine, so im guessing I have a computer related issue.

Originally my Track Point driver was and IBM type. My pointer started to be erratic and uncontrollable and I update the driver but a Lonevo driver was downloaded. However, the problem with my pointer is still erratic. I contacted Microsoft and they said they have updated to the Loveno driver for Track Point for my IBM Thinkpad T22 using Windows XP Home Edition. How can I resolve the problem and find an appropriate Track Point drive that makes the pointer move properly.
