Danby countertop dishwasher

Just wondering if you know of any fixes for danby countertop dishwasher leaking from bottom - only close to end of washing cycle - close to and during draining cycle.

Thank you for your idea. Unfortunately this is not the problem. Both hoses - draining and filling are located at the back of dishwasher - and both are bone dry.

Not sure - how do I check this???

Thank you again for your attempts to help me. I have no idea where all of this is unfortunately. The water line simply connects to the connector and from there it is all sealed up. I guess I would have to take it all apart to find the valve???

Thank you all for all your help. I ended up getting a second counter top dishwasher that also ended up not working so well. I decided to try to make one working one out of the two. I opened them both up this weekend and found the leak issue to be the easiest to solve. It turns out that the tub ventilation outlet was broken and leaking. Such a simple thing and yet such a big mess when it leaked. I am now happily with a dishwasher that works very well. Again thank you.

Although indirectly, you did help me fix the machine by giving me ideas of what to look for the leaks. That led me to opening the dishwasher up and finding the leak that I wouldn't have found otherwise.

Thank you. Great service you have here as well. I will definitely check back when I have other problems and also if I find any solutions to other problems others may have. Thanks.

Very important only use half teaspoon of soap. To much soap can cause it to leak. Also only use dishwasher soap.

you will have to gain access to the water line pipe/hose going into the unit then you will see the drain hose.if the dishwasher doesnt leak until the end of the cycle it has to be the drain hose---i could be wrong.let me know.

My Danby countertop dishwasher won't wash-the dishwasher detergent is never used at the end of the wash and nothing is clean

Was it working before, and now has stopped working? If so, it sounds like it has poor water circulation. It might be caused by a leak. If you have not noticed a leak, it might be clogging due to hard water deposits. Do you live in a region with hard water?

I turned on my Danby countertop dishwasher without water! and now it does not work at all. Someone help me please, how can i fix it!!!

unless it ran for quite a while there should be no damage. plug it into the water, add a few cups of water to the water to fill the sump and prime the pump and turn it on it should work then.

Our danby at home shuts itself off when there is no water so I'm assuming thats what you are seeing.
